We need a global economy that doesn't discriminate against developing countries, and an open, rule-based and predictable financial system in order to end the scandal of 21st Century extreme poverty.

Jubilee Australia's research and lobbying work is aimed at exposing the root causes and challenging the systems that keep people, communities and countries in long term poverty.

In the last fifty years, only 5 countries out of 170 have achieved the goal of development - economic stability, sustainable growth, and the ability of ordinary citizens to live a life of well-being, free from the atrocities of extreme poverty.
